Ego - The Greatest EvilThe business of the wise self is to get rid of evil and not supervise it. Supervising evil does not make it good. Ego is the greatest evil. Ego is nothing but an arrogant self. One should be grateful to what we have rather than be arrogant. This gratitude makes us feel we are nobody and grace is the real factor. We are born into this world with no name and then struggle to be somebody by working for name and fame. Our inner essence is we are nobody and our personality is we are somebody. Personality is the surface. Stop living on the surface. To be aware of the world of I and me is ordinary living. To be aware of nothing is mine and everything is thine, is extraordinary living. What we consider is mine is not really ours. This body I have not created. We come empty handed and we will go empty handed. So to be empty is a great purity. Swami Sukhabodhanand
Prayer of a Great ManLet me not pray to be sheltered from dangers, but to be fearless in facing them. Let me not beg for stilling of my pain, but for the heart to conquer it. Let me not look for the allies in life’s battlefield, but to my own strength Let me not crave in anxious fear to be saved, but hope for the patience to win my freedom. Grant me that I may not be a coward, feeling your mercy in my success alone. Let me find the grasp of your hand in my failure------------Gurudev Ravindranath Tagore.
The fruit of prayer is faith, The fruit of faith is love, The fruit of love is service The fruit of service is peace ------------ Mother Teresa.
Secret of Happiness
The real secret of happiness is simply this: To be willing to Live ant Let Live, AND To know very clearly in one’s own mind THAT the unpardonable sin is “ To be an Unpleasant Person.”
