Eldess launches professional service for lonely senior citizens Mumbai: 18th July 2009 Mumbai, Jul 18 : Eldess, a city-based company, has launched 'Eldess as your Friendly Relative' (EAFR), a professional service to provide support to the lonely senior citizens in the city. Eldess chief operating officer Maneesh Mehra yesterday here said, ''EAFR members get access to the 'Support Manager', who are very friendly and helpful individuals, trained in elderly care. They will be the people whom your parents can call for any support, and the 'Support Managers' will either provide this help through one of the unique Eldess offerings, or will send an Eldess Odd Jobs Man to your parents, who can be used for any odd jobs, for instance, getting an affidavit done or getting some repairs done, with your parents instructing them on how to go about it.'' The company's chief executive officer Roopesh Kumar said, ''We hope that individuals concerned for their parents in Mumbai, and their elders will respond to this and work with us to define a service that will be useful to all elders.''
